COO - Cooper Companies

Has been on a roll today, surging by over 4% on takeover speculation. flyonthewall.com reported earlier today, "We note the company has cancelled out of a Wachovia conference (see our January 08th comment) as well as a JP Morgan conference. :theflyonthewall.com"

Fly reports further... "Bloomberg reports that Essilor International SA may make a bid for COO, according to weekly magazine Challenges. The bid could be as much as 2.1Beuros ($2.7B), the magazine said, citing a study by Paris broker Oddo et Cie.
