The $RTSI and World Markets

One market that get's an extended holiday break until Monday is the Russian stock market. The $RTSI left off at a record 1921 at the end of 2006. With the slide in commodities, including oil, that market will be pummeled when trading resumes. Then again, even the Asian markets will likely see selling Sunday night as a follow through to the commodities rout again today here in the US along with the Wall Street weakness. As a preacher friend of mine is fond of saying around Easter, "It's Friday, but Sunday's coming." And Sunday evening is going to be interesting in the markets.
