The dollar burns.Can you believe the insanity of the partisanship in Washington where absolutely nothing is going to get done now that we're upon the '08 election cycle while our currency goes completely into the crapper?
It is not hard to imagine a new party (for better or worse) relegating either the demicans or republicrats to third party Whig-like status by 2012, not to mention a possible independent run by NYC Mayor Bloomberg next year. The financial situations that we've had a great time discussing on this blog are going to have huge political implications in the months and years ahead.
