No Posts Tonight

I'm installing Windows Vista and it's been a bad experience. It's a good thing Ballmer and Gates live 3,000 miles away. Back early in the morning.

I can't believe you went for Vista already.... why? I work in IT and there is no reason to except to spend money, get a less stable platform, that will have tons of compatibility problems with other hardware and software... I guess we all make mistakes

Give this guy the prize! He is SO right. I will have more later... but my quick advice is STAY AWAY FROM VISTA. (typed from my kid's computer this morning as I re-install XP on my home office computer.

Thanks for the prize! :)

The general rule with Microsoft is never buy a new OS until Service Pack 2. SP1 has been known to break more than it fixes and by the time SP2 comes out, it is more stable and all the new device drivers and updates are out for stuff that won't work with the new OS.... avoid the bleeding edge new stuff and let others "beta" test
