It's a question that even half brain dead potential homebuyers are asking realtors these days to try to gain a negotiating edge, or to assess neighborhood selling and pricing conditions: "How long has this place been on the market?" And increasingly the answer is an evasive non answer.
The Southern California MLS has decided to take Days on Market (DOM) and Cumulative Days on Market (CDOM) data off of reports generated for customers. Transparency? That would apparently be bad in the view of this realtors group. Look for this confiscation of information to move through other MLSs
